IN SILENCE THERE IS ELOQUENCE. STOP WEAVING AND SEE HOW THE PATTERN IMPROVES. ~ Rumi
Revelation Through Reflection
This Solar Transit brings us to the final gate in the Quarter of Civilization—a cycle of building, creating, expressing, and bringing ideas into form. Before life moves forward, Gate 33 invites us to pause.
Gate 33 is one of the three stop codons in our genetic code—a biological pause built into life itself. Nature understands something we often forget: wisdom needs space.
Grounding this transit is Gate 19, the energy of sensitivity and needs. As we retreat to reflect, Gate 19 reminds us that we don’t withdraw from life—we withdraw to better understand our place within it. It reconnects us to what truly matters: our relationships, our shared humanity, and the needs that bind us together.
Is it time to step back and reflect?
I often think of Gate 33 as the archetypal Wise Storyteller—not the one who speaks first, but the one who has lived, reflected, and discovered the deeper truth hidden within experience.
Retreat arises in that moment between a completed experience and a new beginning. It is the quiet space where you pause to reflect on what has been, discern what to carry forward, release what no longer belongs, and renew your strength.
It’s in these moments of stillness that your most valuable lessons have the opportunity to rise to the surface. What first appeared as confusion can become clarity. What once seemed ordinary can reveal an enduring truth.
Like the Prodigal, you mature through each cycle of experience. Over time, your perspective deepens, your understanding expands, and with it, your influence naturally grows.
Retreat isn’t a sign of weakness or failure. Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is step back. A conscious retreat creates the space for wisdom to emerge, and wisdom becomes the foundation for what comes next.
Nature itself demonstrates this. It periodically turns inward to regenerate rather than always displaying obvious forward growth. The seasons remind us that renewal often begins in stillness.
Skillful retreat is a sign of intelligence, discernment, and strength.
It’s human nature to share the lessons of experience. The story may be your own, another person’s, or even the collective experience of a community. The source matters less than the reflection itself. It’s through contemplation that experience is transformed into wisdom.
When the time is right, you may be called to share what you’ve discovered.
Your story then becomes more than a personal memory—it becomes part of our collective wisdom, quietly contributing to humanity’s evolving consciousness.
Every experience leaves behind a story.
When you give yourself the gift of retreat, that story has the opportunity to become wisdom.
And wisdom, when the time is right, naturally finds its voice.
“Without reflection, we go blindly on our way, creating more unintended consequences, and failing to achieve anything useful.” — Margaret J. Wheatley

What are Solar Transits?
In Human Design, Solar Transits reflect the impact the Sun is having on humanity as it moves through the Gates and Lines of the Mandala (64 Gates and 384 Lines). Transits are potentials that you may see in others and the world around you, and, may become a part of your experience as well.
Not everyone experiences these energies … and if we do, we experience them filtered through our own unique Human Design.

I am a Human Design teacher, guide, and survivor whose path to purpose was forged through profound transformation. In 2012, a Stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis shattered the life I knew—and became the unexpected beginning of a deeper awakening. What followed was a journey through illness, the unraveling of a long marriage, and the quiet rebuilding of a self I had never fully met. Human Design found me in the midst of that unraveling—during a time of deep searching, blackouts of identity, and a hunger to remember who I really was. What began as a personal tool for survival and self-reclamation soon became a lifelong path. Human Design gave me language for what I had always felt but couldn’t explain. It helped me understand my energy, my wounds, my gifts—and how to live in alignment with my true nature.
Today, I teach Human Design not as a system of labels or rules, but as a living, breathing map back to the Self. My work is rooted in lived experience—because I know what it’s like to lose your way, and what it takes to come home to yourself. I specialize in guiding others through times of transition, awakening, and reinvention—helping them understand the unique blueprint they were born with, so they can navigate life with clarity, self-trust, and deep compassion. My gift lies in transmuting adversity into wisdom—and walking with others as they remember who they truly are.
